Summary

Excel Academy provides Curriculum Enhancement Programmes for high achieving and high profile primary and secondary schools from Hong Kong.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and dynamic teachers who can deliver a fun-packed and professional programme of lessons, workshops and excursions.

Job details

Applicants can be Primary or Secondary trained teachers with a PGCE/BEd or TEFL/YL qualification (NQT and QTS) ideally with experience of teaching English or Drama or both.

We are particularly keen to work with teachers who can implement pair and group work and other interactive teaching strategies effectively and who are also aware of recording systems based on National Curriculum practice.

It is important that teachers have a strong language awareness: writing for different purposes, genres and styles as well as oral production. We use a topic-based approach involving a variety of topics and themes.

We offer all of our teachers the following:
Tried and tested schemes of work with student booklets and resources
Support from experienced Course Directors
Fully planned and prepared excursions with detailed itineraries
Training sessions and pre-course briefing
Residential posts available for primary and secondary programmes

This is a full-time position for approximately two to three weeks.
