Summary

CERAN language school is currently recruiting staff for the JUNIORS centre in Oakham, UK for the summer of 2012.

A very limited number of staff will also be needed at Easter.

Job details

We are looking for teachers with genuine enthusiasm and a good sense of responsibility, to teach English as a foreign language.

You will use a variety of lessons, workshops and activities to teach our students, who are aged from 12 -18 years, and come from a wide variety of countries.

Ceran uses the immersion technique, encouraging and assisting students to speak in the target language not only in the classroom, but at all times.

This is a good opportunity, particularly for those who have just qualified, to gain experience with a reputable language school, with the prospect of future, seasonal, work. We welcome applications from both newly qualified teachers and more experienced staff.

Requirements

We are looking for qualified teachers, with a first degree or equivalent and one of the following:

* Cambridge CELTA or Trinity TESOL
* PGCE in English or modern languages,
with ELT/TESOL subsidiary
* University Certificate in ELT/TESOL

Other qualifications will be considered if they contain at least 100 hours of input, 6 hours of supervised teaching practice, and are externally validated by a reputable examination board.

You must have English as a mother tongue,
and have permission to work in the EU.

UK applicants should have, or be willing to apply for, a CRB check. Applicants from other countries will be asked to provide the relevant Police check.
