Full time position available for immediate start.
We require a dedicated native speaking EFL Teacher for a full-time position. The contracted hours will be 21 classroom hours per week over five afternoons/evenings, Monday to Friday, and all classes take place at our centre. The starting date is February 1st 2012 until June 22nd 2012, with the prospects of continuing employment the following school year.
We especially require applicants with experience with teaching young learners (8-12), and an awareness of the CEFR and experience with Cambridge ESOL exam preparation would be advantageous.
The base salary is 1150€ net per month for 21 weekly hours although increments are made according to qualifications and experience. All official national and local holidays paid, including Xmas and Easter, plus full social security benefits. Returning teachers receive a 2 weeks bonus. Apart from the classroom hours, teachers are expected to perform typical administrative duties and attend a monthly meeting / workshop.There will be an induction morning prior to the starting date.
CELTA / Trinity CertTESOL or equivalent.
Only EU citizens or residents.
At least 1 years classroom teaching experience in a similar position.
Experience with young learners (6-12 years), although the position also entails teaching teens and adults.
A working knowledge of Spanish.
