Job details

If you are a native English speaker with Bachelor's degree and no crimal record, you are eligible to apply for English teaching positions in S.Korea.

Daegu is the 3rd largest city in S.Korea and on the train route between Seoul and Busan. There are around 500 private English institutes and over 800 current foreign English teachers.

The common benefits from teaching at private English institutes are as below;

▪monthly salary from 2,000,000won depending on TEFL experiences

▪prepaid one-way flight ticket to S.Korea and a return ticket on completion of one-year contract

▪10 days paid vacation scheduled by a school and additional national holidays

▪rent free fully-furnished single housing within walking distance of a school

▪severance pay equivalent of one month salary, after completion of one year contract

▪half of medical insurance paid by the employer

▪fewer than 12 students in each class

▪working hours (Monday through Friday); (A) from 9:30am to 6:30pm, teaching kids aged from 4-12 (B) from 3-10pm, teaching children aged from 9-16

▪teaching hours; maximum 120hours per month

▪contract term: 1 year

Requirements

native English speakers with Bachelor's degree and nationality of Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, U.K., and U.S.A.
apostilled national criminal background check issued within 6 months and apostilled photocopy of Bachelor's degree certificate are required by the immigration office in S.Korea for visa approval.
