Acceptance of Terms
The contents of Eslbase do not constitute advice and should not be relied upon in making, or refraining from making, any decision.
Changes to Website
Eslbase reserves the right to:
– change or remove (temporarily or permanently) Eslbase or any part of it without notice, and you confirm that Eslbase shall not be liable to you for any such change or removal; and
Information you provide
The information, text and files you submit, and any communications you have with other Users or third parties in connection with Eslbase must not be offensive, threatening, false or misleading, must not infringe the rights of any person or entity or break any law.
Posting job, course, school and banner advertisements
If you post a job advertisement, a TEFL course advertisement or an advertisement for a school, you may only include information directly related to that job, course or school. Advertisements must be true and accurate and must not breach any copyright or break any law. If you upload an image, it must be your original work or your copyright. We will not be liable for any copyright infringement.
For job advertisements, the job itself that you are advertising must be a genuine job opportunity, and the terms and conditions of employment that you offer to applicants must respect employment law and all other relevant legislation in the country where the job is based.
We reserve the right to amend or remove any advertisement, and to include code within advertiser links to produce statistical data.
If your advertisement involves a fee, you consent to the provision of the service starting immediately. This means that you will not have the right to cancel your order during the cooling off period provided for certain purchases under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Purchasing products with lifetime access or a lifetime licence
If you purchase a resource or other product that is displayed as having “lifetime access” or a “lifetime licence”, lifetime refers to the lifetime of the product purchased, not the lifetime of the customer. We will make every effort to keep the product active and available for as long as we possibly can, but we make no gaurantees as to its lifetime. When purchasing one of these products, you agree to these definitions of “lifetime”.
The Grammar for English Teachers course and our teaching resources have a 30 day refund policy. If you would like a refund within this 30 day period, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. No refunds will be given more than 30 days after purchase, except in exceptional circumstances.
Viewing and responding to job, course, school and banner advertisements
Eslbase is not responsible for, nor do we guarantee, the accuracy, truthfulness, reliability or legality of information in any job advertisement, TEFL course advertisement, advertisement for a school or other content available on the Website. Eslbase is not responsible for the outcome of any application, communication or transaction made in relation to any advertisement or other material available on the Website. You acknowledge that any communication or transaction you have with advertisers and other Users in relation to any advertisement or other material available on Eslbase is entirely at your own risk. Please also see Indemnity below.
While Eslbase reserves the right to remove job advertisements, TEFL course advertisements or advertisements for schools at our sole discretion, we do not assume any obligation to do so and to the fullest extent permitted by law, disclaim any liability for failing to take any such action.
If you have any concerns at all about the accuracy, truthfulness or legality of an advertisement, please contact us. For TEFL job adverts, please remember, however, that an advert which could be illegal if the job were in the UK may be legal in the country where the job is based. An example would be where UK discrimination laws do not apply to a job based in another country.
