Our TEFL job placement program in Vietnam

Teaching in Vietnam gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in a culture of friendly hospitality, vibrant energy, world-famous cuisine and stunning landscapes, where every moment feels like an adventure and where you'll quickly feel at home. We have placements in the bustling cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage site of Hoi An, amongst others.

This program provides a supportive environment for developing your teaching skills, with classes of around 20 motivated students aged between 3 and 17, as well as opportunities for professional development. Teaching in Vietnam is the perfect balance of work, discovery, and connection in a country that’s as dynamic as it is welcoming.

Positions available

Positions are available at private language schools in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hoi An, Vũng Tàu and Biên Hòa.

Requirements

To be eligible for our Vietnam program, you’ll need:

  • a passport from the UK, US, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa
  • a University degree in any subject (or in your final year)
  • one year full-time teaching experience OR a TEFL certificate with an in-class component
  • a clean background check
  • funds available to pay the program fee and associated costs

Program cost

The Vietnam job placement program costs £530, or £450 if you already have a TEFL certificate. You will also need to budget for visa and medical insurance costs (esimated £300), accommodation and living expenses, and flights to Vietnam.
