Job description
As part of a team of teachers from Taiwan and around the world, you will plan and teach engaging and effective English lessons for young Taiwanese students. You will also grade homework and acceptance, communicate student progress to parents, and help execute special events that help students experience cultures beyond Taiwan. Our curriculum teaches every part of the English language – reading, writing, speaking, and listening – and helps students use English in natural ways.

• Guaranteed teaching hours. You’re guaranteed a minimum of 20 teaching hours per week, with most HESS teachers teaching 25-26 hours per week on average.
• Competitive teaching pay starting between 680 and 730 NTD per teaching hour depending on related education and experience, plus an additional 3,000 NTD per month for completing administrative work
• Annual contract completion bonuses and raises
• Flexible vacation time, sick leave, and extended leave from your second year
• Enrollment in Taiwan’s National Health Insurance program
