Established as the original specialist in week-long communicative courses, English in Action is dedicated to creating unique learning experiences for students in their own schools.
As we gear up for our busy Spring School Programme in Austria and Germany, we are seeking qualified, native level teachers who have a genuine love of teaching and a sense of adventure.

-Contract lengths will range from 1 to 8 weeks at a time, depending on course demand and your availability.
-Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week
-Student age range, 11-15
-June contracts with a focus on the weeks commencing 15th and 22nd of June. Teachers will need to be available for these weeks.
Salary and benefits
- Weekly wage of (£15 per hour) and a tax-free weekly subsistence.

Comprehensive Support:

- Travel and logistics overseen by a dedicated Operations team
- On-site support from Senior Teacher guidance
- Out of hours contact for emergency assistance.
Flexible Availability:
-Flexible contracts on offer, depending on course demand and your availability.
-Successful applicants will be considered for teaching opportunities year-round by submission of your availability.
Requirements
- TEFL Trinity, Cambridge CELTA, or equivalent qualifications. Minimum accepted is 120+ hour TEFL with a minimum of 6 hours observational module. (please enquire if you are unsure).
- Candidates with a PGCE and relevant experience teaching EFL are welcome.
- Creative and communicative teaching style focusing on speaking proficiency.
Work Eligibility:
- The right to work in the UK (for payroll & employment purposes).
- Must hold a valid UK/Irish Passport or Non-UK passport with a UK Work Visa.
- Compliant with Schengen Zone allowance for UK passport holders.
In-Person Interviews:
- Join our friendly and personal 1.5 to 2-hour interview session in Central London on the 16th of May 2025. (EiA do not conduct interviews online currently)
- Interact and network with fellow teachers for an informative and engaging session.
