Job description
- Responsible for planning relevant, structured, well-paced and enjoyable English lessons
- Responsible for delivering well thought out, engaging and interesting English lessons
- Ensure students are safe and supervised at all times during lessons
- Ensure students are studying at the correct level, undertaking weekly progress checks to ensure students English is improving
- Undertake all required academic admin to provide evidence of quality teaching
- Accompany students on a weekend trip or excursion
- Undertake any airport transfer as and when required
- Uphold the good name of Bede’s Summer School and the reputation of the host school
Please note, this role is residential.
Qualifications and Education:
- University degree in any discipline
- CELTA/Trinity Cert. TESOL (or Accreditation UK recognised equivalent)/PGCE in English or MFL
- At least 1 year’s experience teaching Young Learners
- Residential summer school experience is preferred
- A strong awareness of Health, Safety and Safeguarding
