Job description

We are currently recruiting teachers for:





  • Kindergarten only positions




  • Kindergarten + elementary combination schools




  • Elementary & middle school language academies




Typical working conditions (exact details vary by school and city):





  • Contract length: 12-month renewable contract




  • Teaching hours: usually 20–30 teaching hours per week




  • Working hours examples:





    • Kindergarten: roughly 09:00–18:00




    • Elementary / middle hagwon: roughly 13:00–21:00 or 14:00–22:00






  • Class size: often 8–16 students per class




  • Curriculum: in most schools a structured curriculum and materials are provided, with space to add your own ideas and activities




Locations include Seoul (Gangnam, Seocho, Mapo, Seongbuk, Gangdong, etc.), Gyeonggi Province (Bundang, Yongin, Guri, Uiwang, and more), and major cities such as Busan, Daegu, Daejeon, Incheon, Cheonan, Cheongju, Ulsan, Gwangju, Changwon, and

Salary and benefits

Monthly salary: typically 2.4–3.5 million KRW
(higher salaries available for experienced teachers and licensed educators)

Housing: furnished single studio or a monthly housing allowance

Airfare / relocation: support or allowance may be offered depending on the school

Vacation: paid national holidays plus additional paid vacation (varies by employer)

Severance: one month’s salary bonus on completion of a 1-year contract

Insurance & pension: enrollment in Korean National Health Insurance and National Pension, according to Korean law

Requirements

We are looking for teachers who:

Are native speakers of English from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa

Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in any field

Are eligible for an E-2 work visa in Korea or already hold a valid F-series visa

Can provide a clean national-level criminal background check

Enjoy working with children and young teens, and are willing to adapt to Korean school culture

TEFL/TESOL certificate (120+ hours) is preferred, but not strictly required.
