Position: Kindergarten Homeroom teacher

Student age:  2-6 years

Student group: around 15-20

Work schedule: 8:00am-4:30 Monday to Friday

Locations:  Shanghai, China

Start date: August 2026

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Strictly implement the kindergarten daily schedule and the school’s rules and regulations

-Teach according to the kindergarten curriculum, creating appropriate lesson plans and teaching materials on time and preparing for the activities in advance and ensure the implementation of the plan.

-Be able to organize and use various ways to carry out teaching activities independently. This includes

organizing activities, classroom organization like creating a great English environment in the classroom,

decorating the walls with useful learning materials and other visuals that will help on the student’s

learning.

-Conduct research to improve his/her own teaching skills and constantly seek advice and guidance to

Improve their professional abilities.

-Keep constant communication with school colleagues and also parents to discuss the kid’s individual

Progress and needs.

-Organize and manage the class activities both indoor and outdoor like sports, art lessons, music and

dancing and other appropriate activities.

-Participate in all the activities in kindergarten.

 

 

Salary and benefits

Benefits:

-Monthly salary: 15,000 RMB pretax

-Housing allowance of 3,000 RMB a month

-Flight Allowance: 6000 RMB; (after contract completion)

-Legal ‘Z’ work visa fees covered

-Paid holidays: 2 weeks summer & 2 weeks winter, all China statutory holidays

-Accidental and severe hospitalization insurance during the contract term;

-Pre-job orientation and training and on-going program supervision

-Assistance for housing rental service, Chinese Sim card and bank card application.

-Foreigner medical checkup for visa covered (all fees paid for)

-Police residence registration assistance

Requirements

Requirements:

-Native Fluency in English is a must  

-Bachelor degree holder (legalized/apostilled)

-TESOL/TEFL certificate (legalized/apostilled)

-Clean non-criminal record (legalized police check)

Documents for applying a work permit and residence permit:

Bachelor Degree or above, the original document and its Apostille
TESOL/TEFL certificate and its Apostille (at least 120H) or 2-years of related teaching experience (a recommendation letter is needed for the latter situation)
Police check and it’s Apostille (the police clearance is valid at least 3 months from when you applied it.)
Passport info. + CV + digital photo (white background)
