Run by TEFL Iberia, one of Barcelona's most established English teacher training centers.

From €3,300 for 5 weeks. Programs up to 24 weeks. Accommodation, training, Spanish classes, activities, airport pickup, and visa support all included. €500 deposit to secure a place.

Requirements

Gap Year in Spain is open to students aged 18 and over from any English-speaking background. No teaching experience is required for the Trinity CertTESOL — the course is designed for trainees with no prior classroom experience. No Spanish is required to join; Spanish classes start from an absolute beginner level. The program is particularly well-suited to students taking a year before university (deferred entry), students between undergraduate years, and recent graduates exploring options before committing to a career.
