Job description


  • Lessons are to be carefully and effectively planned in line with the curriculum, scheme of work and standards.

  • Cultural aspects: Lesson planning should consider local customs and religion to ensure teaching is culturally sensitive.   

  • Lessons aim increase students’ understanding of life in the UK, including current issues and culture in culturally appropriate manner.

  • Effective use of resources, by integrating appropriate resources and technology into

  • Supervision of students (children/young people) before class and during break times.

  • Plan and deliver 24-30 hours teaching a week. 

  • Teaching students aged 5 and above.  

  • Work within the BLC quality policies and procedures.

Salary: 800BD

Accommodation

Requirements

Educated to degree level—preferably in English/Education/TESOL or

Business.

Qualification in ELT—CELTA

Excellent command of the English Language.
