Join the adventure with American Village Camps

Since 1994, we've been offering English immersion programs for French children aged 8 to 15 across the beautiful French countryside. We’re currently hiring Camp Counselors for our Spring School Trips (March to June) or for our Summer Camp in July&August

Your Role:

As an English Language Counselor, you'll live at one of our residential camps and become a key part of the children's English immersion experience. No French allowed,  English only! Through creative games, songs, classes, and hands-on activities, you'll make language learning a fun and unforgettable adventure.

You’ll be:

  • Leading sports, arts & crafts, theatre, team games, and more — all in English.

  • Hosting English classes in an engaging and playful format.

  • Singing camp songs, telling stories, and keeping the camp spirit alive!

  • Building strong bonds with children and working collaboratively with an international team.


 What We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for energetic, caring, and creative individuals who love working with kids and are ready to bring English to life.

Salary and benefits

• Salary: €2002/month (gross) for school trip and €56.20 per day for our Summer Camp

Requirements

Must-haves:
• Experience with children (teaching, childcare, tutoring, coaching…).
• Fluent English speaker (CEFRL level C1 or higher).
• Knowledge of North American or British culture to enrich our activities.
• Ability to work in a team, communicate clearly, and stay organized.
• Teaching experience (though no CELTA/TEFL is needed).
• EU nationality or valid French work authorization (we cannot sponsor visas).
