Job description
Mokdong English School is currently seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and positive teacher who enjoys building relationships with students and creating engaging conversation-based classes.
We believe students learn best in a supportive and enjoyable environment. Our goal is to provide classes that are both fun and productive while helping students build confidence in their English skills.
Teachers can expect:
• Small class sizes that allow for meaningful interaction
• A supportive and collaborative teaching team
• Hands-on training and guidance
• A welcoming work environment where teachers are encouraged to grow and share ideas
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Enjoys working with students and leading interactive classes
• Is dependable, adaptable, and eager to contribute to our school community
Position: ESL Instructor
Number of Openings: 3
Set curriculum provided
Korean co-teacher support and team teaching environment
Maximum of 6 students per class
Monday–Friday schedule (No weekends)
Contract Length: 1 year
Teaching Age: Elementary to Middle School students
Salary & Benefits
Salary: 2.5 – 3.0 million KRW/month (based on experience)
National health insurance and pension
Benefits provided in accordance with the Korean Labor Standards Act
Vacation
Most national holidays observed
1 week paid summer vacation
1 week paid winter vacation
(Vacation dates determined by the school schedule)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Native level English speaker
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience preferred
Eligible for an E-2 or F visa
