Job description
The North Station specialises in delivering dynamic and engaging lessons to English language learners, and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, development-focused English language teacher to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is well suited to teachers who enjoy working with a wide range of learner levels and types as well as developing together with their peers as part of a structured training and development programme.
Based in Zaragoza, you will work closely with learners, helping them develop their abilities in all skills and systems, both in the traditional and online classrooms. You will also take part in our structured teacher training and development programme which aims to help teachers in:
Building strong rapport with learners
Establishing relevant development goals
Using feedback in order to improve as a teacher
Trying out new methods, approaches and techniques in the classroom
Meeting the needs of learners through differentiation
We are seeking an English language teacher who will excel in the following responsibilities and duties:
- Deliver dynamic and engaging lessons to a diverse range of learners, including very young learners, young learners, teens, and adults.
- Prepare learners for Cambridge exams, from Starters to Proficiency, ensuring comprehensive exam readiness.
- Foster a reflective attitude, actively seeking and embracing feedback to continuously improve teaching practice.
- Receive positive feedback from the majority of students, demonstrating the ability to create a supportive and motivating learning environment.
- Set clear communicative aims and success criteria in classes to guide students towards their language goals.
- Transition from teacher-led to student-led classes, promoting active participation and fostering learner autonomy.
- Utilise a wide range of methods, approaches, and techniques suited for very young learners, young learners, teens, and adults to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Implement task-based learning (TBL) approaches in class, integrating meaningful tasks that allow learners to use language authentically.
- Follow a task-supported syllabus, providing learners with opportunities to achieve outcomes and engage with language in real-life contexts.

Requirements
-Highly proficient user of English
-Celta, CertTESOL or equivalent minimum or
Delta, DipTESOL or MA TESOL
-Located in Zaragoza or able to relocate
-Able to work in the EU
-Development-focused
-A strong desire to learn
