Salary and benefits
Dates: The position is a substitution for one academic year. From 18th August 2025- end of July 2026.
We could also carry out training prior to this in July if you are available.
The position is Monday to Friday. Plus 1 Saturday in November to attend Aceia Conference and a few hours on a Saturday in June to accompany students to Cambridge oral exams.
Timetable:
Monday / Wednesday / Thursday midday until 9pm
Tuesday morning & afternoon
Friday half day
Flexibility to cover evening substitutions until 10pm
Summer Timetable 8am-3pm in July & last week of August.
Remote work: possibility of working remotely 1-2 mornings per week once fully autonomous.
Holidays: proportional to the time worked according to law (includes one day during Feria and a single Friday to be agreed with the director of studies). Also, one week at Christmas and one week at Easter. Local, autonomous and national vacations.
Contract and salary: The coordinator will have a full-time 39-hour contract "contrato de interinidad" as “técnico coordinador”, with a probationary period of 2 months; they will be registered in the Social Security System, according to Spanish regulations. An optional medical check will be offered.
Training: working alongside current Coordinator for 2 weeks in July and 1 month from 18th August.
Requirements
- Native level English speaker
- EU passport or Spanish NIE/TIE
- University degree + recognised TEFL qualification
- Experienced teacher willing to teach all age groups (VYL, kids, teens, adults)
- Confident preparing students for Cambridge exams (KET, PET, FCE, CAE)
- Minimum B2 level of Spanish
- Tech-savvy
- A teacher who is keen to grow professionally and expand their skillset.
