Later this year (2007) we celebrate our 20th anniversary. Although a relatively small school we have carved out a niche in the company class market. In fact only 4 of our current classes can be considered "traditional" open, general English courses. The rest are private, company or exam courses, either in small closed groups or one-to-one. We do not teach children except the occasional examination tutorial type class for older teenagers.

A lot of the teaching is off site on the premises of our clients, hence a driving licence is essential and teachers with their own vehicle are a priority.
Also, because of the requirements of most companies with regard to fitting in their classes with their working timetable, a lot of flexibility is required about working hours with early morning starts and lunchtime classes. On the positive side, unlike most Spanish language schools, teachers are normally finished for the evening at 8.30. or 9.00. at the latest.

The school operates a Quality Management System and support is available from the Company Course Coordinator and the Director, as well as regular teachers' meetings and help for attending conferences and seminars in the area.

Language teaching is only part of the range of services offered. We also organise Cambridge ESOL exams in La Rioja, act as delegates for courses abroad, carry out language audits and selection tests for companies and translation and interpreting services in a wide range of languages through a network of professional, freelance translators.
