IICA - a non-profit educational Organization, established in Ituiutaba, Minas Gerais, Southeast Brazil, was founded in 1965 and it offers positions for Trainee Teachers to Brazil.

Participants come for an internship of six or eleven months. They are placed at one of IICA's partner-schools throughout Brazil. They are hosted to a Brazilian host-family while in tghe Program, and have full boarding free of costs.

All participants should hold a degree of studies at any University/College course. must be single, aged between 21-32 yrs.old, open minded, flexible, outgoing with a positive outlook of life.

They are assigned to teach English to students of all levels and ages in a supervised and monitored program. There are reports to be filled and submitted each month to IICA headquarters.

At termination of course, if a minimum of 70 credits is reached a recogniozed TFL/ESL Certificate is awarded.

Trainees will have a monthly financial aid of R$ 660 Reais (Brazilian Currency) for their pérsonal stipend and have domestic transportation covered by the host-school.

Learning Portuguese, living with commitments, having a cultural life experience in Brazil, making new friends, and gaining professional education in ESL , are also objectives to be reached by the participant.
