Job description
Responsibilities:
- assessing Level 5 TEFL courses and filling out corresponding documents and spreadsheets
- paying attention to detail and conducting relevant plagiarism checks and AI checks on coursework
- responding to student emails
- administrative tasks related to the work (sending certificates, writing email templates etc)
- minimal course edits for improvement
- attend staff meetings and training sessions when required
- communicating promptly during working hours via teams
Salary and benefits
available for immediate start
European time-zone preference due to company working hours
8 hours per week over 2-3 days, days to be discussed at interview depending on availability
initial 3-month contract with a view to further agreed-upon periods of work (busy periods, holiday cover).
Rate of pay: 15 euros p/h
the assessor must complete the Level 3 Assessor’s qualification within the first 4 weeks of the contract
Requirements
- native-level of English (C2)
- Bachelor’s degree in any subject
- 3-5 years of TEFL teaching experience
- DELTA /Master’s in a relevant topic (Education, Linguistics, TEFL)
- able to commit to the time period and hours outlined below
- available for potential long-term collaboration for periods of work (with appropriate notice)
- proven experience of remote work and an ability to meet strict deadlines
Candidates without a DELTA or Master’s, please refrain from applying as this is a requirement set out by our awarding body for Level 5 assessors.
