Internship start date: All year round
This program is designed for individuals who would like to gain practicum experience in home tutoring and substituting while traveling and learning a new culture.
This internship allows you to experience actual ESL and subject teaching without making a long-term commitment until you are ready to pursue a teaching career abroad. Our team is ready to offer you support throughout your internship!
JOB DETAILS
Internship working hours: 20 hours a week. (Substitute teacher working hours are from 8 am to 4:30 pm in a Kindergarten, Primary, Middle, or High School will be equivalent to 4 working hours)
Working days: 5 days a week, 2 days off on weekdays or weekends.
Location: Shanghai as base. The company will also assign to tutor or substitute in different cities in China, during which the company will cover the intern’s traveling cost (train or flight ticket), and hotel accommodation.
ARRIVAL SUPPORT
1) Airport Pick-Up
2) 3 days of free hotel booking if the accommodation is not ready
3) Escorted to your accommodations
TRAINING AND PLACEMENT
1) Have orientation and meet the staff.
2) Attend training with our professional staff trainer in preparation for interviews and demos, which most schools will require.
3) Provide continuous training and teaching tips throughout the internship.
Salary and benefits
1) Free accommodation throughout the internship
2) Candidates shall receive a monthly living allowance of 5,000 RMB (after tax)
3) Provide a 2,500 RMB return trip air ticket
4) Reference letters shall be provided by the end of the internship
5) Free Mandarin Chinese classes (40 hours, 1 to 1 classes)
