Following the closure of the Istanbul British Council Teaching Centre in 2006, four ex-employees of the Council set up British Side with the aim of continuing to provide quality language teaching.
The school is located in a central area in Istanbul, in a modern, comfortable, well-equipped building.
All British Side teachers are qualified (CELTA or equivalent), have at least two years of post-qualification experience, and are native English speakers. Regular observations and teacher development sessions ensure the on-going professional development of the teachers.
