Be personal, not generic Your personal experiences and thoughts about the course are much more helpful than generic comments like "It was great". Was one of the instructors particularly helpful when things were tough in the middle of the course? Did something in a job guidance session help you get a job somewhere? Did something in the course really motivate and inspire you to teach?
Be honest, but not vindictiveIf something wasn't as you expected, it's fine to mention it. But try to make any criticism constructive and specific. Explain specifically what the issue was and why. Did others on the course share this feeling, or was it simply not right for you? This is much more helpful than ranting, both for people reading the review and for the course provider!
Make it relevantLong-winded reviews rarely get read in full. So while some detail is better than one sentence, keep it relevant and think about what would be useful for other people to know.
Comment on other reviewsIf you've seen a comment in a review that you agree or disagree with, mention it!
