Overall, I think that the International TEFL and TESOL (ITT) course provided a comprehensive curriculum. I took the online course and since I already had a Master’s degree in Education with a concentration in TESOL as well as over 10 years of teaching experience when I took the course, the topics covered were not new to me, but they did serve as a good refresher. The 120-hour course consisted of 13 modules: Essay Writing, Academic Writing, Grammar, Reading with Phonics, Online Teaching, Teaching Listening Strategies, Teaching Speaking to Beginners, Teaching Business English, Motivating Students, Lesson Planning, Classroom Management, Resume Writing, and How to Get a Teaching job. Each module was composed of video lessons and practical tasks. There were also frequent assessments throughout the course to check for understanding. The self-paced nature of the online course is especially beneficial. Students who are new to TEFL can repeat and review the lessons as much as needed and students with more experience can move quickly through already familiar topics. The topics were well done and I still refer to some of the videos and class materials for answers to specific questions that I have when teaching my current online students.

I took the ITTT 120 hour TEFL course about a month ago and I found it most interesting. I have previously taught one on one but never in a classroom setting. This course is most useful in teaching you practically and theoretically how to teach an ESL class. I found that some units required more time to learn and understand than the time given in the course. I feel I should take this course once again before I would master its content even though I passed the course with grade A.

I took a master package TEFL course. The first certificate I got was 120 hour TEFL certificate during which I had maximum support from a tutor who provided me detailed feedback during the last phase of my course. I refreshed my knowledge of English grammar (since I have BA in English and I learnt most of those units before) but also learnt some new interesting and very useful things for the classroom teaching which I can also apply to my online English teaching. I am very satisfied and currently I’m taking Business course. After it, I’ll be taking TEFL course for teaching young learners. I recommend taking TEFL course to anyone!

I taught and I’m teaching English as a second language now . After taking my TESOL with you , I feel more professional, my colleagues and friends asked me how creative and talented I’ve become recently in teaching, lesson plans making , timings, activities, I laughed and told them that I took an online TESOL,, and the program was so fascinating. My boss just told me a few weeks ago that I’ve become more and more efficient and he wished I could become a full time teacher at his school, unfortunately I can’t cause I follow a master degree at university at the moment . I have less time. I just recommended the ITTT program to two of my friends .

I was definitely nervous to start my online training, as I am not the best virtual student. I emailed prior to purchasing the Master TEFL Course, to assure myself I’d checked all my skeptical boxes.

With all due reassurances in place, I began immediately.

I was impressed with the timing of the delivery of my log in details, course materials as well as the structure of the units. While discussing how to build a lesson plan, they are essentially taking you through one on a personal experience-basis. I found it very rewarding.

My uncertainty now comes from the initial butterflies of finishing a course and embarking on the experience. I was successfully satisfied with the learning aspect of ITTT, now I’m hopeful for the guidance and job-placement aspect they offer.

All and all, successfully certified and pleased to be starting a new journey!
