Camp Assistant

Job description

KIDmadeto and Quantum Camp are looking for fun, motivated, responsible camp assistants for a special Marine Science winter camp in Sanya.

Camp lasts for 9 days over the winter holiday, and pay is 800Y per day (after tax) with free shared accommodation. Training takes place on January 23rd and 24th, with camp running from January 25th to February 2nd. (Total 11 days)

Camp Assistants will be responsible for the overall care and safety of students as they take part in science, surfing and sports classes throughout the day. In addition, Camp Assistants will be responsible for leading the evening social events on the beach - including campfires, dancing and parties.

A TEFL/CELTA is preferred but not required, as classes are taught by experts from the USA. Camp Assistants must be native English speakers and able to commit to the full 11 days of camp (2 days training, 9 days camp). Working days will be around 8 hours - with either the morning or afternoon off (depending on class schedules for that day) - and ending after the evening social event and a short daily debriefing sat around 8pm.

We are looking for self-motivated, responsible teachers who can care for students in camp, support them in class, and make the experience memorable for them by arranging and leading great evening events.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain new experience in a great setting and have fun with the students as you enjoy life in Sanya. For more details about Kid made to, check out kidmadeto.com, or follow us on WeChat.
