We are looking for an ESOL tutor to teach live classes online

Job description

Teaching English as a second language to adult learners every Saturday and/or one week day. All lesson plans are provided by the school. Lesson duration 45 min. Flexible working hours can be arranged to suit candidates.
Interviews will be held online from 5th-10th of January. Start date 15 of January 2022.

Salary and benefits

£9.50/hour

Requirements

Essential:
level 5 or above Teaching qualification (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA, PGCE, TKT etc.)
in depth knowledge of the ESOL curriculum and CEFR
Bachelors degree
12+ months teaching experience
IT literate (proficient in using MS office, Zoom/Teams or similar, email etc.)
at least one professional reference
professional, organised, empathetic, patient
able to motivate students
reliable, responsible, easy-going
understand cultural and social barriers students may face
have a recent DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one


Desirable:

~to be a native speaker
~to have previous experience of teaching online
