Job description

Freelance online English teaching position with a B2B client to teach adult students, employees of a financial firm.

The focus will be general English, spoken fluency, vocabulary building to prepare students for interactions with international clients.

Later in the course we will introduce some Business topics which Lingua Habit have prepared. An interest in marketing, finance (without being an expert) would be helpful.

Classes are 55 minutes long, with 5 minutes to fill out the post-class feedback form.

Classes are either 1:1 or with small groups (max 3 students to one teacher). We use screen sharing and annotation tools.

The students prepare their material in advance of the class (flipped learning) and the teacher is only expected to briefly review the lesson plan in advance.

The feedback form is sent to their HR, our Director of Studies and the teacher.

If you teach more than 20 hours a week we will be able to offer you a job contract and offer you further classes with our private B2C students from Spain and Korea.

Salary and benefits

We can currently offer between 18-22 (euro) per hour. This rate can be increased after an agreed upon number of classes and also based on the transparent post-class feedback from the students.

Payment is via bank transfer on the 5th of the month following your classes. We can create the invoices via our platform. We will require proof of tax registration for freelancers.

In certain cases we are willing to part or fully fund the purchase of better quality headphones, webcams and microphones.


Note: these requirements come directly from the client.

• UK, US, Canadian, Australian, Irish passport
• TEFL, TESOL certification
• University studies (or) current students with proof of enrollment
• Offline teaching experience (private students, language schools, Summer camps)

All applicants, even native English speakers, will be asked to complete a short English level test (vocabulay, grammar, written assignment).

Higher hourly rate offered for candidates with a CELTA/DELTA and/or previous telephone, online or in-company corporate English classes

Please (please, based on past applicants) do not submit fake University degrees or teaching certificates. The client and our own HR will manually check each applicant.
