Job description

Do you love teaching kids? If so, why not teach in Hanoi, Vietnam - a dynamic and emerging Tiger of Southeast Asia.

• Contract period: mid August 2020 – end May 2021
• Each lesson last from 35 – 40 mins
• Working Monday – Friday; evenings & weekends off
• Class size: from 40 - 45 students with assistant teacher
• Students’ English level? Beginner to Advanced (depending on the class)
• School will provide the teaching curriculum

Salary and benefits

Salary: 460,000 - 560,000 VND per hour (depending on experience)

+ Completion bonus: accrued at the rate of 10,000 VND per hour paid out at the end of the contract
+ Travelling compensation: accrued at the rate of 10,000 VND per hour paid out at the end of the contract
+ Tax: The school will pay the income tax for teachers
+ Probation period: 1 month
+ Teaching hours: Guaranteed 15 hours per week possibly more
+ Accommodation: School will help teachers find accommodation
+ Basic health insurance paid by school


• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor degree (any discipline) + TESOL / TEFL Certificate (120 Hrs +)
• Experience: min 1 year teaching experience, but new TEFL/TESOL cert grads also accepted
• Age limit: 24-40
• Must have a criminal background check
• Must have a professional outlook and positive, easy-going attitude
