Seeking English teacher to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for a teacher of English to join our team at a private language school in Levice, Slovakia. We are seeking a motivated and charismatic person who can work independently and bring creativity into the classroom. We are an institution that prides itself on bringing fun and excitement to the classroom while helping students learn practical and academic language.

Salary and benefits

Accommodation is provided. Teaching in the afternoons, Monday to Thursday (2.00 - 8.00 pm), Fridays are free.

Requirements

The chosen candidate MUST…

• have an advanced command of English.
• have at least 2 years of teaching experience in English.
• be comfortable teaching kids, teenagers and adults.
• be willing to work afternoons and evenings.

Additional qualities we are looking for, but not essential…

• familiarity with Cambridge exams and the Common European Framework
• familiarity using technology and supplementary materials in the classroom
• familiarity with “call and response” methods (for example Callan method)
• a university degree

Courses follow the school year and all holidays follow the traditional school schedule of Slovakia. Teaching will take place from September to June.
