Job description

Main Responsibilities:
• Deliver high quality English language teaching that meets the needs of our learners
• Provide cover for other teachers when required
• Contribute to the development, evaluation and improvement of the courses and materials
• Complete teaching related administrative tasks to Simplingo's high standards
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to help manage students performance throughout their course
• Actively engage in the professional development to ensure the quality and high standards Simplingo and our clients expect

Working Hours:
7-9pm Weekdays (Beijing Time) = 12-2pm Weekdays (London Time)

Salary and benefits

Teachers' Payment ranges from $10.50 - $27 depending on the duration of classes.


Undergraduate degree (in any field)*

ESL Teaching Certification. This can be:
• A CELTA / CELTYL / Trinity CertTESOL
• A TEFL certificate from internationally recognized TEFL course providers
• A TEFL course online may also be accepted but must have at least 120 hours; with a practical, assessed teaching component**

Experience teaching with children (tutoring, online classes, face-to-face classes)

* A Masters degree in TESOL or Primary Education will be considered in lieu of ESL Teaching Certification
** If your TEFL course was completed online, please indicate the duration and the course provider in your cover letter

Minimum Technical Requirements:
• Intel i5 or above
• Windows 7 or newer OR MAC OS X10.9 or newer
• No less than 4G of RAM
• No less than 1280*720 Resolution
• No less than 2Mbps upload speed
