Starting in September

We are looking for 2 long-term teachers to develop stability and consistency with the students who use a variety of games and activities to motivate their students. You will be responsible for helping groups of young learners, teenagers and adults reach their full potential. Our lessons are fun, engaging and communicative. You will enjoy the freedom and creativity of designing your own lesson plans while following a set curriculum for each age group and level.The salary is on a par with most major cities, with no commute costs, PLUS your accommodation is paid.

Life is slower here compared to the cities so this position would suit someone who is looking for a relaxed lifestyle surrounded by nature, and / or interested in activities such as hiking, kayaking. There are plenty of festivals in and around the town throughout the year and Ponferrada is thirty minutes away if you end up craving the city.

September - June contract

Classes are afternoons / evenings, 14 hours per teacher/week with possibility of overtime

Salary and benefits

Salary: 1100 GROSS 800 € NET per month

Fields of Expertise: ESL / TEFL

• Must have EU citizenship or have EU work Permit
• Must have a university degree
• Foreign Languages or Linguistics is desirable
• CELTA teaching certificate or equivalent is preferred
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience, preparing Cambridge exams as well as teaching teens and young learners is essential
• Intermediate level of Spanish is desirable
