Magic Ears has a simple and smooth recruitment process and once you are hired you can schedule your classes. You will be teaching up to 4 students per class; the children are aged around 4-12.
The lessons are pre-set in the app, hence, no lesson planning is necessary; you just have to go through the lesson minutes before the classes and get familiarized.
Our computer program is one of the most interactive and joyful ones where all teaching materials are provided. You will meet most adorable teaching aids- Magic Ears’ original characters, to help you teach through animated and engaging stories that young learners adore!
Each in-lesson time is 30 minutes and Magic Ears provides coaching and support throughout. Additionally, it has a Class Coordination Team that handles scheduling and student assignment for the teachers.

Payment System
How will you get paid? Magic Ears has a hassle-free and transparent payment system. The company pays all its teachers via bank transfer to their bank accounts and the best part is, you don’t have to bear the transfer fee as it is covered by Magic Ears. The pay date is no later than the 15th of each month where you will be paid for the entire previous month of teaching.

Class Timings

The typical class times with Magic Ears would be during the peak working hours in China, which are between 6:40 pm and 09:10 pm from Monday through Friday. Then, there will be additional late-night hours between 8:40 pm to 11:40 pm for 30 minutes of class each.

Recruitment Process

Magic Ears has a simple recruitment process which can be explained in 5 simple steps:

Step #2: Demo Interview 1
Step #3: Demo Interview 2
Step #4: Trial Classes
Step #5: Hiring completed

After the initial screening, the first demo interview will be conducted by Magic Ears to assess your technical proficiency, i.e. how well can you work on its platform. Are you acquainted with the buttons and tools and how do you manage sound and video quality etc.
The second demo interview will be of about 25 minutes and here you will be asked to demonstrate your language knowledge, teaching techniques and skills.
The next phase is trial or mock classes. You will be asked to take up 2-5 classes, though on a trial basis. The number of classes will depend on real family feedback for these lessons.
If you clear all these rounds successfully, you will be offered the Magic Ears contract and by signing it you instantly become a part of this remarkable family.

1. How and when do I know about my schedule?
You have your set classes weekly. If you wish to check your schedule, you can do so on the Magic Ears app on Sunday evenings.

2. What if I have to cancel a class due to an unexpected event?
Magic Ears is sensitive to such problems and hence, you can cancel a scheduled class by giving at least 24 hours advance notice to the Magic Ears class coordination team.

3. Will I be getting the same set of students every time?
At Magic Ears we do try to match the same teachers and students the best we can, but it is not always possible. So you should expect to see a few new faces in every class.

4. How do I apply?
