Job description

- Teach young learners English
- Follow core curriculum guidelines and classroom expectations
- Work together with your Chinese Teaching Assistant to facilitate a positive classroom environment
- Legal “Z” work visa provided
- Living and teaching support in China
- Professional pre-job training
- Medicare insurance covered (same time period with your work permit)

- Students’ age: 3 – 8 years old
- Class size: 8 – 12 Students per class
- Working hours: 40 hours per week (including teaching and office hours)
- Teaching hours: basic 20 teaching hours per week, when you have more enrollments, it might rise to 25+ teaching hours per week
- Class hour:
1 regular class (90 mins) = 2 teaching hours
1 demo class (90 mins) = 1.5 teaching hours
1 activity class (60 mins) (Opening Ceremony etc.) = 1 teaching hour
1 outdoor class (60 mins)=1.5 teaching hours
1 half-day class (4 lessons) = 4 teaching hours
1 all-day class (5 lessons) = 6 teaching hours
- Provided teaching materials: Textbook, Lesson plan templates, Activities book, Story books, Multimedia devices, Best Learning App/Software

Salary and benefits

After tax income:
- Monthly basic salary: RMB 17,000 – 18,000
- Monthly housing allowance: RMB 3,000
- Extra teaching-hour bonus: RMB 70/extra hour (more than 80 teaching hours/month)
- Demo bonus: RMB 100 for every successful enrolled student
- Contract completion bonus: RMB 10,000

- Holidays: 2 days off every week, all Chinese national holidays, 2 weeks paid winter holidays, 2 weeks unpaid summer holidays.
- Vacation time: When we work more than 40 hours/week, all the extra hours will be calculated as your vacation time. You can use this to cover your personal leaves.


Bachelor's Degree or Above
Eligible to apply for a work visa to China
Teaching experience preferred
Great accent
TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate preferred
