Job description

Qualified EFL Teacher needed for language school in beautiful Galicia. Classes are from Monday to Friday and start in the afternoon. You will be responsible for helping groups of young learners and adults achieve their full potential in all four skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Our lessons are fun, engaging and communicative. You will enjoy the freedom and creativity of designing your own lesson plans while following a set curriculum for each age group and level.

Teachers have a maximum of 20 hours contact hours per week with potential of overtime if they require. Our teachers do not have extra office hours and are not expected to take part in extra activities.

We are looking for long-term teachers to develop stability and consistency with the Students. Accommodation is included and compared to other parts of Spain we pay more. Our working environment is relaxed and professional and we believe in looking after and supporting our teachers as we are teachers ourselves. Advise and assistance is also given with gaining residency, opening bank account etc. here in Spain should you require.

Salary and benefits

1000 Euros a month plus a 2 BED APARTMENT INCLUDED (NOT SHARED). We pay for your health insurance and retention tax. Paid holidays.

Requirements

Native speaker or proficiency level if non-native. Must have legal working status to work in Spain or an EU passport.

TESOL/TEFL/CELTA/DELTA certification
or PGDE in ESOL or BA or above in English

1 Year experience preferred
If you have experience teaching Children, adults or a BA in English but no certificate then please do apply.
