Job title

EFL Teacher

Job description

Due to retirement we are looking for an EFL teacher to start September 2021 in a private well established English academy in a small village near Cádiz.

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated professional, native English speaking teacher to join our team.

We are an official preparation centre for the University of Cambridge exams and as such would prefer candidates with experience in preparing students for these qualifications - although this is not to exclude any teacher with the willingness to learn.

We deliver a range of courses primarily for young learners and teens from YLE to CAE. All classes are in the afternoon / evenings.
The classrooms are all equipped with laptops, whiteboards, projectors, Ebeam software and Wi -Fi connection. We also provide pre-planned classes, term-time exams and additional easy-to-access resources making it easier for our teachers to provide a uniformed service to our students.

Monthly meetings to provide guidance and assistance and a Spanish speaker administrator.

Salary and benefits

Minimum NET pay € 12 - 14 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
2 weeks fully paid holiday at Christmas and 1 week at Easter.
All local and most national holidays paid.
Initially required to work 4-5 hours in the afternoon / evening Monday - Thursday until end of June 2022.

Our minimum requirement is for a native English speaker preferably based in Spain with a relevant TEFL qualification.

At least one year teaching experience.
Have the legal right to work in Spain with all the necessary paperwork.
Be interested in the long-term improvement of students as well as being reliable and trustworthy.
Confident to teach online if required.
