Job description
EIS Escola d'Idiomes specialises in teaching English to children, teenagers and adults. Established in 1982, we are at the forefront of language learning in Girona city and have evolved constantly to provide the most complete, effective teaching possible for our students.
In addition to general classes from A1 to C2 levels, we prepare students for a range of official exams and professional assignments from interviews to presentations.
We can offer a competitive salary, working from Monday to Friday. We offer a legal employment contract, with paid public holidays (Christmas, Easter and local), and the relevant social security contributions.
We offer considerable experience in a wide range of teaching situations, in a stable, supportive and progressive environment, with an openness to technology and creativity, in addition to the chance to gain experience in exam preparation (We are an Oxford exam centre, among other things).
We offer the chance to live in the city of Girona, which is fast gaining a reputation for its quality of life and its proximity to both the Mediterranean and the Pyrenees.
Our school is based on the quality of our teachers. English must be a native language, and candidates must have a recognised TEFL qualification and a minimum of two years experience. We expect candidates to have a solid knowledge of grammar and classroom skills, and we hope candidates who bring creativity, enthusiasm and ambition to our school.
