ESL Teacher

Travel to Ecuador to teach English as a Second language for 10 weeks.

Strengthening the English skills of local English teachers. The program’s objective is to improve language skills, teaching technique, performance in the classroom, and professional development.

Students need to increase 1 level according to the CEFR. Students will start at either an A1 or B1 Level.

Spend each Saturday and Sunday teaching English. Teach for 8 hours each Saturday and 4 hours each Sunday. Monday through Friday is free.

Dates: Exact dates are yet to be determined. Starting late August, returning mid-October.

Salary and benefits

Salary: $12-15 per hour, approximately $50 per hour once covered expenses are factored in.

• Local travel to and from universities
• Housing
• Visa


A master’s degree in teaching English as a Second Language, or similar (required). 3 years of teaching experience.
