We are currently looking for four individuals to participate on our conversation assistant programme in the city of Aliante, on the south of the Spanish Costa Blanca.

As part of the language assistant programme participants will spend 25 hours working in a Spanish public school, working alongside and learning from the local English teacher. Typical activities include leading role plays, conversation in small groups and helping the teacher with speaking activities in the class. Successful applicants will receive accommodation with a Spanish family, this is a fantastic opportunity to improve your Spanish and learn about Spanish culture. All assistants will be provided with a single room for their own use, with access to the internet.

Our programme also includes an online postgraduate course in creativity in the language classroom, which is completely online and offered by the University of Valencia.

Applicants should be aware that this is a training and work experience programme and in no way constitutes a full-time job. Ideal applicants are young individuals looking to have an experience in Spain or to start a career in the world of English language teaching. This programme is also perfect for individuals who are undecided on whether to begin a teaching career and want to have an experience before deciding.

Salary and benefits

Although this is a work and cultural experience programme, assistants are reimbursed with the following benefits -
• 150 euro monthly bursary
• Lunch included in the school (Mon thru Fri)
• All other meals provided by family
• Free university post graduate course
• Accommodation in a Spanish family
• Free Spanish course


Applicants must have a high level of spoken English, preferably C2 qualified or native/bilingual. All applicants must be in possession of a completed bachelor-s degree.
