Alcalá de Henares is a World Heritage Site located 35 kilometres east of Spain's capital, Madrid. At only 20 minutes from the airport, it is the perfect location for those wanting to either visit home or other European and international destinations. Whether you enjoy the bustle of the capital or the slightly laidback yet community feel of Alcalá, you will have the option to experience the two. Our centre is located within walking distance from the picturesque historic centre. We are now in our 9th academic year of business and wanting to add to our team for 2019-2020.

We are offering 25 hours per week (Monday-Friday) in afternoon block hours. The classes will be predominantly groups with a maximum of 8 students lasting 1 hour each. Materials will be provided including teacher resources with the successful candidate expected to provide 20 minutes of oral interaction/game time in each 1 hour slot. The rest of the time will be focussed on topics from the age/level-specific curriculum.

Salary and benefits

1300€ net salary per month with the option of taking on extra classes to boost income.

Successful candidates will be provided with a working contract which will in turn grant them access to the health care system in Spain and so no further medical insurance will be required.

Requirements

BA degree/TEFL or CELTA qualification. A knowledge of Spanish is desirable but not essential. Any previous experience in teaching and/or with children is a plus although training will be provided.

The start date for this position is 16th September.
