Job description

Bilingual is a private, non-profit educational organisation that has been operating in Hungarian schools since 2001. Our nationally accredited program is integrated into multiple state and private institutions, offering a unique bilingual education model.

We are looking for dedicated English teachers to join our innovative program in kindergartens, primary schools, middle schools, and high schools in and around Budapest.

TEACHING APPROACH

- Co-Teaching Model: You'll work alongside experienced Hungarian teachers, alternating the leading role in lessons, so students study simultaneously in both English and Hungarian.
- Innovative Methods: We incorporate interactive, communicative, and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approaches.
- Technology-Enhanced Learning: Our classrooms integrate various online platforms and digital tools to support teaching.
- Subject Co-Teaching: Opportunities to co-teach subjects such as maths, PE, art, and the sciences alongside Hungarian teaching professionals.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

We provide continuous professional development, including:

- Comprehensive orientation and training before the school year begins.
- Regular workshops and mentoring.
- Support from in-school coordinators, HR managers, and experienced mentors for first-year teachers.

Requirements

- Native English speaker or balanced bilingual (CEF level C2)
- Experience working with young children, middle schoolers and/or high school students preferred
- Bachelor’s degree
- TEFL certification of at least 120 hours
- Able to form good relationships with students, colleagues and parents
- A team player but also independent, self-starting and highly motivated
