Job description

EF (English First) is a network of language schools providing English language training and courses in countries where English is not the native language. EF (English First) was established in Indonesia in 1995, and we currently have 79 branches in 35 cities in Indonesia (and are still growing)!

We are looking for fun, flexible and dynamic individuals for our schools in Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Malang in East Java, and in Mataram, Lombok. All positions are just a stone's throw from Bali!

You'll be teaching students aged 3-18 years old, working 20-24 hours over 5 or 6 days a week.

Requirements

• Due to Indonesian immigration restrictions you must be between 24 and 55 years old
• Valid passport with more than 18 months of validity
• Bachelor's Degree in any major
• Covid-19 vaccinated (at least 2x)
• At least 1 year of experience teaching English is preferred
• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate (required regardless of other qualifications)
• Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, UK or USA nationality or citizenship
• Non-native speaking candidates must submit an English proficiency test result (IELTS of 7.5 overall, with a minimum of 7.5 in the Speaking section/iBT TOEFL, with an overall score of 102 and a minimum of 25 in Speaking/Cambridge C1 Advanced - Minimum Grade B (score of 193))
