Job description
Here at High Valley English in El Puerto de Santa Maria we’re looking for a new teacher to join our small team.
From September 2025 we can offer a legal permanent fijo discontinuo contract of 12-16 teaching hours per week over 4 afternoons, Monday-Thursday. We could also offer a reduced hours contract for the rest of this academic year with an immediate start, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 6 hours weekly.
A relaxed working environment with small classes of 8/9 students. Our students range from 3 years old to B2 level teens. All course materials and lesson guides are provided.
Salary and benefits
Requirements
• have a C2 (or high C1) level of English
• have at least a conversational level of Spanish.
• have a good knowledge of English grammar up to at least B2 level.
• have the legal right to live and work within the EU.
• And perhaps most importantly, enjoy working with kids and teens, be motivated to learn and implement new ways of teaching, and be of a friendly, patient and approachable manner.
We would also highly value:
• being CELTA, TESOL or equivalent qualified
• being already settled permanently in El Puerto de Santa Maria.
• having experience teaching English in a classroom situation to young learners and teens.
• having experience in Cambridge exams preparation.
