Job description

Lively and dynamic English Language Teachers required for a modern, well-equipped English academy in Santander for Academic Year 2025/26.
Full and part time contracts available. Competitive salary and paid holidays.

Our students base is made up of a large number of Young Learners and Teenagers. We would be highly interested in teachers with experience teaching pre-primary and primary learners. Experience with 4-8 year olds would be highly valued. We also teach Adults and Business English classes.

Class sizes are small (8-10s). Classes are Mon-Fri.

Santander is a medium-sized city situated on the northern coast of Spain, with beautiful beaches and only a short distance from the mountains. It is an ideal location for someone who enjoys the outdoors.
Teaching experience: 2 years minimum

Native level English speaker preferred. Permission to work in the EU is essential.

Salary and benefits

We offer a competitive salary as well as full national health and social security cover.

Paid holidays (Christmas, Easter and local and national holidays/festivities).

The contract will run for the full academic year with default renewal for the following academic year ("fijo/discontinuo").

Requirements

Native level English speaker
EU passport or work permit essential
Tefl/CELTA or similar qualification
University degree
Minimum 2 years experience
Experience with children is important
Knowledge of Spanish an advantage
International Child Protection Certificate required
References from previous employers essential
