Job description

Join Smooth Talkers, a premier language institute in Santiago, Chile, specializing in personalized English instruction for adults. We're seeking committed and experienced Native English teachers to join our remote team, fostering a positive learning environment. While preference is given to candidates residing in North, Central, or South America, all regions are welcome to apply. Full-time teachers, available from morning to evening (Chilean time), can teach up to 25 hours weekly, while part-time teachers can take up to 12 hours. Minimum hourly rate is $14 USD.With peak hours from:

8:00 to 11:00 am, 13:00 to 16:00 pm, and 17:00 to 19:00 pm.

Flexibility is key; teachers must cover two of these time frames Monday to Friday, with additional availability appreciated. Responsibilities include teaching adults and children, managing small groups or individual classes, lesson planning and delivery, feedback provision, and basic administrative tasks. Key competencies include native English fluency, a minimum of 6 months teaching experience and/or certification, online teaching experience, reliable internet access, motivation, energy, strong communication and listening skills, and a solid grasp of grammar.
