Job description

Language Kingdom is a national company headquartered in Oviedo, Asturias (Northwest Spain), with a strong reputation in language teaching and immersive programs both in Spain and abroad. With more than 10 educational centers across the country, we offer dynamic environments where teachers can truly grow and make a difference.


We are currently looking for hands-on English Teachers for the upcoming school year. The position involves a combination of English teaching and classroom support roles, making it an exciting opportunity to diversify your teaching experience.


LOCATIONS: Oviedo & Grao (Grado)


Oviedo: A vibrant, student-friendly city with a rich cultural life, excellent infrastructure, and great quality of life.
Grao: A charming town just 25 minutes from Oviedo. Our academy in Grao has been active for several years, offering a familiar, close-knit environment, with small class sizes and a strong community of loyal students.


Given the schedule, living in Oviedo is highly recommended.


SCHEDULE & ROLE


Working hours: 25 to 28 teaching hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday, morning and evenings schedule
Dual role:




  • Teaching Assistant in the mornings at a school in Oviedo, supporting lead teachers in curricular classes

  • Lead English Teacher in the afternoons, working with students aged 3 and up (children, teens, adults)

Salary and benefits

Fixed-term contract: From September 2025 to end of June 2026
Optional summer extension in July as a camp leader
Salary (gross monthly):

25 hours/week → €1,500

28 hours/week → €1,750

Social Security, Health Insurance: Full public healthcare and social coverage

Paid holidays: Christmas, Easter, and all national/local public holidays

Ongoing training in methodologies, planning, exam preparation, etc.

Assistance on arrival to help you settle in Spain

Requirements

✅ Requirements

- C2 level or native speaker competence in English.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience.
- TEFL or equivalent certificate required.
- University degree is a plus.
- Must hold an EU passport or a valid work permit for Spain.
