I’m not a TEFL teacher – I’m actually a member of staff at an institution in London that is currently looking for a TEFL teacher. Can anyone give me advice about where good places to advertise TEFL jobs are? Where would you go and look?

Hello Clare, I regret my reply is a few days past your original post on the 25th June, but I hope this catches you.
Advertising can be a problem, true. For me as a small language facility I use eslbase.com and nowhere else. I’ve long got fed up with pestering agencies and recruitment shacks to the point of installing some rather risky to use software to block them online. Since dumping anything Microsoft life has become nice again. But back to the point…You may think of looking at one or two of the better teacher training establishments in your neck of the woods. Bloomsbury Sq. would warrant a perusal and as you are London based I’d Oyster-card my way around and put my head in the doors and have a word in Reception rather than send a bland mail. There are new intakes each month for TESOL and CELTA if a newly qualified person would suit, plus there are also time-served guys and girls who chose to obtain a certificate too.
    PM me any Q.
