Can you think of any verb and nouns that go together? :?
    eg. to post a letter.
I am teaching a Pre- intermediate class on my Celta course.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :D

    Hi Carla

    There are many!

It’s a good idea to introduce them in sets, around a topic or theme, or with a certain verb, to make association and memory easier for your students:

For example, around the theme of daily routines:

    have a coffee
    have a shower
    clean your teeth
    start work
    have lunch
    leave work
    go home
    meet friends
    watch television
    go to bed

    … and so on

    Or with the verb make:

    make a mistake
    make the bed
    make dinner
    make friends
    make an effort

    … and so on

Hope this helps – good luck with the course!
