    Hi everybody,

I’m torn between this two courses.

    1. The TKT, offered by the British Council, lasts 60 hours. They have an online and a face-to-face version. The course has two basic components:

    a. Preparation for the three modules of the TKT exam:
Module 1, language and background to language teaching and learning
Module 2, lesson planning and use of resources for language teaching and learning
Module 3, managing the teaching and learning process
    b. Teaching development:
Situational and text based presentations of grammar
Teaching listening, reading, writing and speaking skills
    Teaching vocabulary
    Integrating skills
    CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning)

    2. The TDI, offered by Hunter College city University of New York, features 5 modules (30 hours each). It’s offered online only. These are the modules:
    1. FUNDAMENTALS OF ELT
    2. SPEAKING
    3. READING
    4. LISTENING
    5. FUNDAMENTALS OF TEACHING YOUR LEARNERS

    Any ideas, thoughts or suggestions?

    Thanks!
