Home TEFL forum Teaching in Asia & Oceania TEFL teachers work conditions in Thailand
Hello Everyone,
I’m conducting a very quick survey to get an accurate snapshot of the working conditions in Thailand. The survey is completely anonymous, contains two very simple questions and will take about 30 seconds to complete. I’d be very grateful if you could complete it!

Can anyone tell me what it’s like to teach English in Thailand?
I just moved to Spain a month ago, i’m from England but i’m not finding Spain enough of a challenge. It’s too similar to England for me. So once I have been here for another 5 months I will hopefully get my TEFL qualification and move to Thailand or Vietnam.
Can anyone give me advice or share their experience with me please?
You would really be helping me out
thanks in advance
Jen
The teaching jobs in Thailand offer competitive monthly salaries that allow teachers to see and experience the multitude of sites that constitute Thailand’s beauty. Educators looking to teach English in Thailand should be aware that the the cost of living is relatively low in comparison to the contract salary, and as such, saving a significant portion of a teacher’s income should not be difficult. Transportation in Thailand, in particular, is exceedingly inexpensive.
Just bumping this one up! Still trying to get enough data to make the study viable. If you’ve taught English in Thailand please take 30 seconds to complete the two questions. Thanks!
Caution: The last time I answered a survey like this I got endless spam trying to sell me an on-line tefl course.
Sorry to disappoint but nothing sinister happening here – just two simple check box questions. No personal details required.
