    Hello

Im looking to take a TEFL, CELTA, TESOL Course to enable me to teach.

The nearest school to me is the English First school in Manchester, altho its the cheapest , ive heard lots of bad things about some of their schools.
Are their qualifications only just for other EF Schools?

There are soo many private school, and am currently tryin to take ma time and go through them to find something suitable and for the right price having only limited funds.

Could some one plzzzzzz get in touch , even if its a recomendation on a course or place to get qualified.

    thanks

    hi,

I did my CELTA course at Manchester Academy on Newton st in the city centre. its a 4 week intensive course and costs around a grand. if youre looking for something part time then you should try I think manchester city college which does the TESOL course and you are expected to go abroad for a week or so for teaching practice. hope this helps.

Hi, Hope this isn’t too late for you. I’ve just completed a CELTA (cambridge certificate) at an International House School (in Riga). it’s an excellent course, and is the "market leader" in Tefl qualifications. International House is about teh longest established tefl school and there is a network across the world. The CELTA is extremely demanding, but it does give a really good basis for teaching. I’d advise looking at either CELTA or Trinity courses. they may be a bit more expensive, but much more marketable when looking for jobs.

    good luck
